Specializing in Transportation and Construction products and services The Warren Group is based in Rexton, NB with employees in Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario.
Under Mr. Sturgeon’s leadership, The Warren Group has been a case study in succession management. Mr. Sturgeon completed the buyout of the local, family owned group of companies, while at the same time tripling the size of The Warren Group.
The Warren Group and its CEO have been recognized by Enterprise Kent, Atlantic Progress magazine’s ‘Top 101’ listing, and as a finalist in the Ernst & Young Atlantic Canada Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
Vaughn Sturgeon is involved in many boards and organizations and has been especially involved in looking towards the future of the transportation community. He has been a board and executive member of the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association since 1999 and went on to serve as the Chairman of that organization for two years. In 2007, the APTA honored Mr. Sturgeon with its Service to the Industry award.
Nationally, Vaughn sits on the board of the Canadian Trucking Association (CTA).
